How to Paint a Plastic Clip Barrette

  1. Step 1

Lay your plastic clip barrette on a work mat or a sheet of paper in case you have a slip of the hand with your paint. Your barrette should be clip-side down.

  2. Step 2

Squeeze a dot of Scribble 3-D paint on your barrette.

  3. Step 3

Continue making small dots all over the surface of your plastic clip barrette.

  4. Step 4

Highlight a central feature in the color of your polka dots. I placed a dot of paint over the middle of the plastic bow and spread it around to cover it entirely with the paint bottle's nozzle.

  5. Step 5

Leave your plastic clip barrette out to dry before you adorn your hair.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't worry if you mess up the paint. Keep some wet wipes nearby and wipe your plastic clip barrette clean for a fresh start.
