Things You'll Need:
- Video editing software
- 3D rendering program
-
Step 1
Use virtual reality tours to show the impact that a new development you are proposing will have on the surrounding community. Architects and site developers often use this approach when pushing a project.
-
Step 2
Create an introductory section which describes the overall goal of the project, and the prior experience of the developer. Include short excerpts from prior presentations for other projects.
-
Step 3
Have the animation move on to the actual "tour," showing the exterior shots of the proposed structure. This structure is placed in a simulation of the actual site that is created by placing a panorama of the surrounding site in the background. If the program you use to create this tour allows you to place trees or other plants, you should do so where appropriate.
-
Step 4
Have the animation move into the interior of the structure, showing its shape and construction. In this part of the video, have a voice over that describes the functions that will be carried out in each part of the structure. For instance, if you are proposing a hotel, you could describe the front desk and the work that goes on there, as well as any innovative features that make it different from any other hotel.
