How to Build a Bullseye Washer Game
A bullseye washer toss game can be played inside or out. It's a popular activity at events like tailgating parties and cookouts. If you want to save money, build your own, personalized bullseye washer toss game. Create two game boxes to play as a team.
Things You'll Need
- 17-by-17 inch plywood (¾ to 1 inch thick)
- 8-foot two-by-four
- Handsaw or mitre saw
- Wood glue
- 14 wood screws (2 ¼ to 2 ½ inches)
- Screwdriver
- PVC pipe (6-inch diameter, 2-inch length)
- Paint or wood stain
Instructions
-
-
1
Cut the two-by-four into four pieces---two that are 17 inches long, and two that are 14 inches long.
-
2
Form a square with the two-by-four pieces. Place the two 17-inch pieces parallel to each other, and the two 14-inch pieces parallel to each other. The 14-inch pieces should rest on top of the 17-inch pieces to form the square.

3
Glue the four pieces together with wood glue. Once the glue dries, secure the pieces with wood screws. Place two wood screws at each corner, about ¼ inch from the top and bottom of the two-by-fours.
-
4
Place the plywood on top of the wooden square. Trim the plywood so it does not extend past the edges of the two-by-fours. Attach the plywood to the two-by-four with one wood screw in each corner.
-
5
Stain or paint the box.
-
6
After the stain dries, glue one side of a 2-inch piece of PVC pipe in the center of the box. Attach two wood screws to secure the PVC pipe to the plywood.

Tips & Warnings
Consider painting your game the colors of your favorite sports team for tailgate parties. You can also place stickers with the team's logo on the outside of the box.
