How to Create a Dollspace Avatar
Dollspace is an avatar database website that allows users to find avatars in dozens of categories such as Animals, Celebrities, Holidays and many more. While finding Avatars is a great function you may also want to add your own avatars to the database and see if your avatars can be clicked on and downloaded more than others. Adding avatars to Dollspace is a simple process.

Find a picture or create a new drawing or picture using our computer and save it to a directory on your computer that you will remember. You can use a basic program such as MS Paint or an advanced applicationn such as Photoshop to create files, or simply choose a picture from your digital camera. The picture sizes must be either 96 by 100 pixels or 100 by 100 pixels in order to be accepted and only the .GIF format can be used. You can easily save your images via any photo editor to the .GIF Format by choosing that option at the time of saving the file.

Visit the official Dollspace website after you've created your image file.

Click on the Submit Avatars link by the top right side of the webpage.

Click on the Browse button and find the picture you want to upload. Once you find the file double click on the file and it will be added to the Upload Image field.

Name your Avatar in the Avatar Name field.

Choose a Category from the drop down box located below the Avatar Name field.

Fill in the Keywords field with any words you want associated with your avatar. When people search these keywords, your avatar will be among he search results.

Fill in the About This Avatar field with any information you feel will help describe your avatar or get users to download and use your avatar.

Click on the Submit button to send your avatar to the database.

Tips & Warnings
Some images will look blurred when shrunk down to such a small image size, Photoshop tends to do a better job of keeping the files integrity than free photo editing programs such as MS Paint. Simply choose to "Resize" your large image and in the attributes field choose the correct pixel size.
Do not upload copyrighted material to Dollspace.
