Step 1
Open the Nero Start Smart program. A display should pop up, showing a list and buttons featuring multiple burning options. Click on the top of the program and make sure that "DVD" is selected from the list that includes "CD," "DVD," and "CD/DVD."
-
Step 2
Click on the "Audio" tab within the program. It will either say "Audio" or feature a picture of a musical note. When you click on it, a long list of Audio DVD options will be displayed.
-
Step 3
Click on the option that says "Make MP3 DVD," and wait a minute while the "Nero Express" window loads. Choose whether you are burning a single-layer DVD or a dual-layer DVD. Choose DVD-5 for a single-layer and DVD-9 for a dual-layer DVD within the drop-down menu.
-
Step 4
Click on the "Add" button on the right-hand side of the screen. Search through your folders to choose the songs you want to add. If songs are located in different folders, simply press "OK," wait for the songs to be analyzed and click on "Add" again.
-
Step 5
Watch the meter to see how many more songs will fit onto the DVD. Once the meter has reached red, no more songs will fit. Press the "Next" button to continue with the process.
-
Step 6
Give your disc a name like "Music" or something more personal to you. Choose how many copies you want to make, and then press "Burn" when all the settings are complete.
-
Step 7
Wait for the DVD to fully burn before touching the computer. The burning process uses a lot of memory and if you use your computer during the burning, you could damage or disrupt the process.
-
Step 8
Test the DVD when the disc has completed, either in a computer, a DVD player or even in a car if necessary.
