Firefox includes odd design choices, which will slow down your overall web speed if you're not on extremely slow dial-up. There's an add-on which will automatically make adjustments that will speed it up. You can easily install this, and it'll make your browsing much faster!

Note to Internet Explorer users or users of other browsers: This is only available to Firefox, the critically acclaimed, free web browser. In order to get these advantages and to run Firefox, please check out the link in the resources at the end of the article.

Click on the "let me install this experimental plug-in" check-mark, and click "Add to Firefox." Let it download and install.

(Note: If doesn't work then you're either using a beta or a very old Firefox release. Please upgrade to the newest non-beta version. See the get Firefox link in the resources.)

  3. Step 3

Click on the restart Firefox button and enjoy the snappiness of Firefox!

Tips & Warnings
  • Feel free to browse around on that plugin site. Personal recommendations would be "Adblock Plus" and "WOT." These will add new capabilities to your Firefox.
  • There is a possibility this will actually slow down your Internet. If this happens, simply remove the plugin from Firefox.
