PASSPORT - Get a current passport. If your passport has expired or you do not have one, you will need to get one to take a European cruise. It make take several weeks to a month or more to get your passport. Apply for a passport at least two months before you need to travel to make sure that it arrives on time. You will need to have a photo taken and pay a fee to get a passport.

LARGE CRUISES - Take a large cruise ship if you are looking for a larger variety of activities and to blend in more with the crowd. If you want to fly under the wire and not be noticed a large cruise is for you. There are many large cruises to choose from in Europe.

SMALL CRUISES - Take a small cruise if you want more personal service, better food and a closer environment. Small cruises are preferred by cruise connoisseurs. There are fewer small cruises to choose from but many of them are excellent so it is easier to choose.

MINIMUM DAYS - Book your cruise for at least 10 days. Anything less is just not enough time to take it all in. As you cruise through the Mediterranean you will wish your cruise was even longer.

VISIT MANY COUNTRIES - Get off the ship as much as possible. At least once in every country it stops in. Shop, eat, go on as many adventures as you possibly can. You will enjoy taking a European cruise.

AMENITIES - Get a list of all of the amenities for your cruise. Make sure that you understand what is included and what is not included. Taking a European cruise is excellent in the beautiful weather of summer.
