If your in a rush for a great quick dinner, this meal is for you.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • pan, pot
  • olive oil
  • fresh garlic
  • butter
  • basil
  • parsley
  • salt, pepper
  • pasta
  1. Step 1

Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring it to a boil. Add your choice of pasta to the boiling water. Meanwhile in another pan heat oil(aprox. 5-6 tablespoons for 1 lb. pasta) and 1 stick of butter. When the butter is melted add garlic gloves finely chopped to taste(aprox. 6 cloves for 1 lb. pasta).

  2. Step 2

Let the garlic cook into the butter and oil until it becomes tender and begins to break down. Careful not to burn the garlic or cook out too much of the butter and oil. Than add parsley, basil, salt, pepper to taste and cook on low heat for 1 more minute. Check the sauce for taste and add oil or spices as desired. There is no science to this sauce and it's hard to make it taste bad so jut work with it and add what you feel it needs. I like to add some crushed red pepper flakes to spice it up sometimes.

  3. Step 3

After pasta is cooked, drain water and add back into the same pot and place on heat again for a few seconds to evaporate and remaining water. Take the pasta off the heat and add in sauce. Mix the pasta together and enjoy.
