Are you self-conscious about taking off your shoes for fear of odor? This is a concern for many people, but there are effective ways to prevent and remove odors from your shoes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The single most important thing to do after washing your feet, before you put on your shoes, is to be sure your feet are thoroughly dry, as moisture breeds bacteria. You may also want to rub baby powder on your feet; don't forget between the toes.

  2. Step 2

Sprinkle baking soda in your shoes after removing them and leave it there overnight. Just shake it out the next morning.

  3. Step 3

Orange peels remove odors and kill bacteria. Put orange peels inside your shoes and leave them in, overnight.

  4. Step 4

If your shoes are going to be on your feet all day, it's a good idea to powder your feet and change into a clean pair of socks halfway through the day.
