In the world of electronic coupons, and Internet coupons, you knew someone would have to come up with a better idea. Well, maybe this idea isn't better. We may all find out in a short time.

Things You'll Need

• Laptop
• Internet
• Grocery store reward cards
• A desire to save

Instructions

1. 

   To begin, get all of your grocery store reward cards together: Schedule a few minutes at your laptop, and you may be greatly rewarded.

2. Go to this website: www.shortcuts.com. At this site you can read a bit about how the program works. Click the button printed with the word Partners. After clicking Partners, you will see the list of stores that are currently enrolled in the coupon deal.

3. 

   Enter your information as prompted: You will be asked to enter your name, zip code, and the usual information needed to track who is getting what. This may be to assure the store you are not using 10 coupons that are the same.

4. Enter the member numbers from your card: The last thing you will do is enter the member number that is on each card. Your cards are then supposed to be updated with a discount for the coupons you will use.

5. Ask these questions before you do all of this: Am I getting a better deal than using Internet coupons? Can I double these coupons like I can the coupons from the newspaper? Is this any better than the reward program I have now? It might be that we will be able to do all of these things. An advantage is, you probably won't be in the store without your member card, but you might forget your coupons. Will it come to a point where only the electronic coupons added to the member card will be needed?

• Even if you do this, it may be wise to continue collecting Internet coupons, and newspaper coupons until someone says they will no longer be accepted.
