Clean tougher stains by spraying solution directly onto the spot. Use your foot to flip the Swiffer head so that it stands vertically. Scrub the spot with the scrubbing pad located on the side of the mop head until the stain is removed.

4
Remove the soiled cleaning pad from the Swiffer and throw it in the garbage. Place a new cleaning pad on the Swiffer by pressing the printed side against the bottom of the head, adhering it to the Velcro.
Reusable Cleaning Pads

5
Create your own reusable cleaning pad for your Swiffer WetJet by wrapping the Swiffer head with a microfiber cloth or old burp cloth. Wrap each end of the Swiffer head with a rubberband to hold the cloth in place.
-
6
Clean your floor as you typically would with the Swiffer.
-
7
Remove the cloth from the base by removing the rubber bands. Launder the cloth as usual before the next use.
Homemade Swiffer Solution Refill

Fill a tall drinking glass with very hot water and place the WetJet solution refill upside down in the cup so that the white dispenser cap is submerged in the water. Leave the refill in the water for five minutes or until the cap is loosened.
-
9
Twist off the refill cap.
-
10
Place a funnel into the end of the refill and pour in 1 1/2 cups hot water and 1 1/2 cups vinegar. Replace the cap and place refill into your Swiffer. Clean your floor as usual.
