How to Add Free Coupons To Your Google Map Listing

A valuable tool for business owners!

Google has a great feature for business owners through their Google Maps application. Not only can you list your business free, you can also create valuable coupons to attract more customers - FREE!

Here are the basic instructions for creating coupons through Google's Local Business Center:

1. To find your current Google Maps listing, go to maps.google.com and type in your business name. Once you've located your business, click on more info, and select edit listing.

   *If you don't have a free business listing, go to Google Maps and click on "put your business on Google Maps" hyperlink.

2. You'll now see two tabs in the Google Local Business Center. One for locations, the other for coupons. Click the Coupons tab. Click add new coupon to get started.

   * You can also make changes to your current business listing, or add a new one. You'll need to validate the listings through Google either by phone or mail before the listing is considered live.

3. Fill in all the necessary info for your coupon and click save. If you have more than one business location, you can even create different coupons for different locations. Be sure to include an expiration date - preferably one that is at least three months in the future.

   Your coupon will appear along with your business listing after it is indexed by Google.

Tips & Warnings

• Keep your coupons "fresh" by creating new ones every 2-3 mos.
