Purchase several pounds of bananas. You will need roughly one banana peel per ten square feet of your lawn. If your infestation is particularly bad, you can double up and purchase one per five square feet of lawn.

Cut the bananas open and remove the fruit. Leave a few in the fridge for you and your family to snack on. Wrap the others and place in the freezer for future snacking or recipe use.

Go outside and toss one banana peel per five or ten square yards of lawn, depending on how bad your infestation is. This doesn't have to be exact, but do make it as close to the measurements as possible.

Leave the peels in the yard to continue to get rid of fleas, until they become hard and shrunken. If you still have a few fleas at this point, you can retreat with more banana peels.
