      The first thing you will want to do is to turn on your computer and let it load up if you have not done so.

      The next thing is to log on to your desktop and let this load up.

      Once you are logged on perform a alt + ctrl + delete. Now when performing this it should be done exactly in this order. So alt and so on. Make sure though you hold down on the key because at the end of the sequence they all should be held down. See picture for image of the 3 keys.

      From here a "Windows Security" pop up will appear. You will want to select the "Change Password" icon. See picture for example.

      On the next screen a pop up box will appear to change password. Some info will be pre filled in and this can be left alone. You will just have to enter your old password and then enter your new password and then verify it. From here you are done and the next time you restart or log off you can utilize this password.
