I know we all need to watch our pennies right now. Mom doesn't want us to spend our money on flower that are going to die in a few days or a card that will end up being thrown out. Here are some other ways to make Mom have a happy mother days for free.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Time
  • Love
  1. Step 1

Spend time with Mom. What does mom like to do? Go for a walk? Sit by the water and pretend to fish? (that would be my mom) What ever she like to do to just relax, join in and just talk. Spending time with mom means more than sending cards or flowers.

  2. Step 2

Chores around the house. Does mom have some chores that she could use someone to help her with? Give her a hand.

  3. Step 3

See what mom has planned for dinner. Cook and clean it for her. That will help give mom a night off her feet.

  4. Step 4

Speaking of feet. I'm a mom and I would love a back rub or feet rub. May be a bit too personal but its an idea. (I make my kids do rub my feet, anyhow.)

  5. Step 5

Does mom live far away? That ok too. Give her a call or a nice e-mail. Mom just needs to know she apprecated and loved. The best way is with a little bit of your time.

  6. Step 6

Do you have more suggestions that would be free for Mother's Day? Please leave a comment below and tell us about it.
