Small eyes are difficult to apply makeup to. To much makeup overpowers small eyes, yet not enough keeps them from standing out. With the right application, though, you can get around all these negatives and end up with eyes that seem huge.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Liquid eyeliner
  • Light colored eyeshadow
  • White eyeshadow
  • Lash curler
  • Mascara with small wand
  1. Step 1

Line your eyes using liquid eyeliner. Liquid is much easier to handle, making it perfect for small eyes. Steady your hand on your nose while you drag the brush across your lash line for a straighter line.

  2. Step 2

Apply a smear of eyeshadow over the lid to the brow bone. Lighter colors are better since dark eyeshadow colors enclose the eye, making it recede.

  3. Step 3

Swipe a line of white shadow on the brow bone to make your eyes look more open.

  4. Step 4

Dot a bit of white shadow on the inside corner of the eye. This makes your eyes seem alert, fresh and well rested.

  5. Step 5

Curl your lashes to make them seem wider and more open.

  6. Step 6

Add two coats of mascara to add length and bulk to your lashes.

Tips & Warnings
  • Line your bottom eyelid only halfway, from your tear duct to the middle, for a look that isn't overpowering.
