on 9/16/2009 I applied to the site and was astounded to find a Google-like interface for searching jobs. I was all the more caught unawares by the number of results that came up after I punched in “Enter.” More than 100 results came up related to my field and I was stumped to find that they were all active. It then occurred to me that because Hound does not charge its employers, all of them are more than happy to post jobs on the site. Job seekers like me get to browse exclusive jobs—all unadvertised listings— because none of them featured in any other job board that I know. That was indeed a masterstroke by Harrison Barnes
