Step 1
Find a cute guy or girl that you want to flirt with.

Initiate contact. You can go up to them and ask a general question (e.g. What time is it? Do you know when the next is? Which way is the airport?) or you can simply make eye contact. Let them see you looking at them, smile, and look away. A returned smile is a good sign.

Think of something clever to say before you begin talking. Especially if you are shy, this is not a time to be working off the top of your head. Have a line ready to use.

Have an easy way to ask them out. Exchange business cards for a 'business' purpose, find out where they go or what they like to do so you can 'run into them' in the future, etc.

Step 5
If it is a chance encounter and you'll have no further chance to see them, flat out ask them out.
