      Open the page that you would like to take a screenshot of.

      Click on your Windows Vista start menu. In the search box type "Snipping Tool." Click on the Snipping Tool to open the program.

      Click on the "New" option. Select the shape that you would like for your screenshot to be. You will then see a "+" symbol appear on your screen.

      Drag the + symbol over the area you would like to capture in the screenshot. After capturing your screenshot, you will see options at the top of the Snippet Tool that will allow you to edit the screenshot.

      Click "File." Click "Save As." Type in the name you would like to save your screenshot as. The screenshot can be saved as a .jpeg, .gif, .png, or .html file. Click "Save." Your screenshot will appear in your "Pictures" folder.
