1
Have a routine. If you take your pills (or medication) at the same time every day you will be less likely to forget. It will become as routine as brushing your teeth or having your morning cup of coffee.
-
2
Mark it on a calendar. Make a pill (medication) chart or have a pill (medication) calendar where you can mark off when you take your pills. This way you can visually see if you need to take it or have already taken it. It's also a good idea to mark on the calendar when you pick up your prescription so this way you will know when to re-order for the next month. At a glance you can see about a week prior to when you need your refill and can have it ready.

You can buy little pill containers at most drugstores and they are very inexpensive. These containers will keep your pills organized for each day of the week. At a glance you can see if you took your pills or not.

Set your alarm clock to remind yourself that it's time to take your pills (medication). You can also set your cell phone to remind you when it's time to take your pills especially if you are out or working and can easily forget.
-

You can also post a note on your refrigerator that simply says..."it's time to take your blood pressure medicine" and the time you are supposed to take it.
