Bigger or most expensive is not always the best choice when it comes to finding the right softball bat. If the player has the right kind of bat, tremendous hits can happen. Once the player finds the perfect bat, all they have to do is make sure they distribute there weight evenly on both feet then once the softball ball reaches the strike zone, which is between there shoulders and chest, just hit it out of the park!

    Length - Length of the bat does matter. When the bat is standing up on end, it should reach your wrist. This is a perfect size bat to do the job.

    Weight - When determining the weight, it is important to try out the bat by swinging it a few times to see if it to heavy or light. What is important is when swinging the bat, determine if you can control the swing without putting to much strain on both hands. Also, are you swinging and you feel like you have lost speed? If this is the case, the bat you have chose it not a good choice. In the event you do not have to opportunity to find the perfect bat, always go for the bat that is lighter. Lighter bats can be swung faster and if you connect with the ball, you could hit it out of the park.

    The Swing - You could have to best bat in the world, but if the player does not connect with the ball, the bat will not help! Loosen up at the plate, keep your eye on the ball and always remember be fluid in your swing.
