How to Reuse / Recycle a Cardboard Box

I have found a way to recycle cardboard boxes for shipping items I sell on sell on Ebay. I take a box with printing on the outside, and I simple turn the box inside out and I have a clean box for shipping. I save money not having to buy a new box, and I am able to pass that saving on to my customers.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Shipping Tape
• Cardboard box
• Utility knife

1. Prepare: I remove all old stickers or mailing envelope on the outside of the box, and cut the tape securing the bottom of the box.

2. 
    
   Tab

   Separate: Open the box and look for the glued tab section which holds the whole box together. Take your utility knife and carefully run along the tab to separate it from the side of the box. Once separated the box should totally unfold

   Tape

   Reattach: Now turn the box inside out and reposition the tab on the new-inside of the box. Crease the tab section to fold in the new direction. Carefully apply tape to the tab in its new location and secure it to the inside of the box.

   Finished Box

   Secure outside: Tape the outside corner of the box where the tab is attached for extra support. Tape the bottom of the box tightly along seam. Now you have a clean box ready for shipping.
