This recipe is super easy, super healthy, and super delicious. As a raw foodie, I have learned that almonds are way easier on your digestive system and much more nutritious than peanuts. This is an easy way to start using almond butter instead of peanut butter. Plus, almond milk is easier on your body than dairy and soy milk. You are getting all of the health benefits of almonds and bananas in a tasty treat you can feel good about giving your whole family!

Try this smoothie for a quick and filling breakfast. It also makes a great snack and its sweet enough to serve as dessert!

This recipe yields 2 smoothies.

on 5/18/2009 This sounds delicious--thanks for the recipe! I've been wanting to try almond milk for awhile as I can't drink cow's milk, so it's great to hear that it's also easier on the system than soy.
