Step 1
Write an article at least 500 words in length that is related to the content of your website. Make this article informational and/or educational. For example, if you sell power tools, an article about "ten simple router techniques" or "how to clean your table saw would fit this criteria."
-
Step 2
Create a resource box for your article. A resource box is a snippet of information that tells the reader of your article who you are, why they should your article seriously and how the reader can get in touch with you if they have more questions. A typical resource box reads, "John Doe is the owner of ABC Power Tools. To learn more about ABC Power Tools you can visit their website at..." and then you would insert your website address.
-
Step 3
Subscribe to article directories such as article dashboard and ezine articles. These directories are free to join and use and they allow you to upload your article and resource box to their website so their own visitors can read the information. They also allow their visitors to syndicate your article (use your article on their websites and blogs) complete with the resource box that links back to your website.
-
Step 4
Repeate steps one through three on a daily basis as long as you have your web business. With this article marketing technique there is no limit to amount of traffic you can drive to your website. It works and it is free!
