Things You'll Need:
- good sense
- time
-
Step 1
Act mature to survive living at home. There may be a lot of times when your parents may not agree with you, but complaining and throwing tantrums like you did when you were a teenager isn't going to work either. Make sure that even if they get on your nerves, you check your nerves and act mature and rational about the situation.
-
Step 2
Spend some quality time with them. This will allow you to get to know their more jolly side, and they will be more acquainted with yours. Creating happy memories with them by spending time them will help you bond together positively.
-
Step 3
Indulge their wishes. You don't have to follow their every beck and call, but you don't have to protest all the time either. Do the dishes once in a while and walk the dog. Cooperate with them and create a balance for yourself as well.
-
Step 4
Communicate with them. They are still your parents, and you have to respect them. Think about how you would feel if you were in their position-- you want to protect your kids and give them the best. You should speak with your parents about respect, how you want to get along with them and obey their wishes but they also have to respect your individuality.

on 5/11/2009 I like your articles, however, I don't stay with them when I got married. But I love to be with my parents whenever I'm with them. TQ for sharing.
