Things You'll Need:
- Moisturizer
- Leave In Deep Conditioner
- Smoothing serum
- Sculpting cream jell
- Hair diffuser (optional)
-
Step 1
After you take a shower squeeze the moisture out of your hair with a towel. Do not rub and shake your hair with a towel as that increases the amount of frizz.
-
Step 2
Once you have squeezed as much moisture out of your hair apply a leave in conditioner of your choice. Use about an amount equal to the size of a quarter for average length hair and a bit more for longer hair.. Any brand will do. The more expensive brands will do a better job at healing damaged hair and extend hair color.
-
Step 3
When applying any products always start in the back of your head where you have the most hair and work forward to the front.
-
Step 4
Apply a smoothing serum to help keep frizz down and to keep your hair looking shiny.
-
Step 5
Apply a curl sculpting cream jell. There are many to choose from and they all work fine. Jell is often preferred over moose as it does not make your hair stiff.
-
Step 6
Once the curling cream has been applied us your hands to “scrunch” the hair into curls. Simply grab a handful of hair and squeeze into a fist. Do this all over until your hair is curled to your liking.
-
Step 7
Let air dry if you have time as this is the healthiest for your hair. If you are in a hurry and need to use a hair dryer then you will need to use a hair diffuser.
