Ground black pepper can serve as a deterrent for rabbits. Simply sprinkle ground pepper around the borders of your flower bed. The smell of the pepper will send those rabbits hopping in the other direction. You will need to reapply the pepper one to two times a week.

Hair will also keep rabbits from snacking in your flower beds. If you put cut human or dog hair around the boarders of your flower bed rabbits will not approach it.

Garlic powder is another item that rabbits will turn up their nose at. Sprinkle garlic powder around the edges of your flower garden. Again like the black pepper you will have to reapply one to two times a week.
