Use Google Keyword Tool to Boost Your eHow Article Views

The Google Keyword Tool is a valuable tool to boost your page views for your eHow articles. With a few simple selections in the Google Keyword tool you will be able to find keywords with higher CPC (cost-per-clicks) and search popularity. Below I have outlined a few simple steps to get you started.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The Google Keyword Tool can be found at: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

  2. Step 2

On the Google Keyword Tool page, select website content and then copy and paste your eHow article’s URL into the box that says: “Enter a webpage URL to find keywords related to the content on the page”. Click on “Get keyword ideas”

  3. Step 3

In “choose columns to display”, select “Show All”. Click on “Estimated Avg. CPC” column twice so the dollar amount is in descending order.

  4. Step 4

Review the “Estimated Ad Position”, “Estimated Avg. CPC” (how much an advertiser is paying for the keyword add) and “Search Volume”

  5. Step 5

With the information obtained from Step 4, replace or add keyword phrases with high search volume and CPC.

  6. Step 6

Add the new keywords to your article title, introduction paragraph, and your "Add Keywords Section" in your eHow article. This will boost page views and earn additional revenue on advertisement click through.
