How to Celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week

Apples have long been associated with teachers.

Teacher Appreciation Week is generally the first week in May, and there are many things you can do to show your gratitude for the important job teachers do. You might even want to consider presenting your favorite teachers with a gift each day of the week.

Instructions

1. Bring your teacher flowers, or suggest that everyone in the class bring one flower to be assembled into a festive arrangement.

2. Bring your teacher fruit. Apples are a traditional gift for teachers, but you can also bring him any other fruit such as bananas, pears or oranges.

3. Write your teacher a letter to tell her how appreciative you are of all her hard work.

4. Bring your teacher something sweet such as a cupcake, candy or cookies.

5. Bring your teacher extra supplies. These can be pencils, erasers, chalk, hand sanitizer, tissues, antibacterial wipes or anything that he may need in the classroom.

6. Plan a breakfast for all the teachers in your school to show your appreciation.
