How to make delicious Spaghetti. Quick & Easy.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large Skillet
  • Large Pot
  • Lean hamburger meat (about two pounds)
  • Spaghetti Noodles
  • Jar of Spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 Chopped Onion
  • Salt & Pepper
  • tsp Cooking Oil or Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  1. Step 1

    In large pot put 6 cups of water, a small amount of salt & cooking oil or olive oil, bring to boil.

  2. Step 2

    While water is heating, Cook hamburger meat & onions in large skillet. Add salt & pepper as desired.

  3. Step 3

    When water comes to a boil, reduce heat & add spaghetti noodles. Let cook till done. To check to see if done, take piece of spaghetti & throw on wall, if it stick sit is done. (my kids loved to do this part)

  4. Step 4

    Drain water off of noodles & set a side.

  5. Step 5

    Drain excess grease from meat, when its done. Add garlic salt, Onion powder & Chili powder to meat. Cook about 10 to 15 minutes covered & stir occasionally

  6. Step 6

    Add Spaghetti Sauce to meat, let simmer covered for about 5 to 10 minutes.

  7. Step 7

    Retrieve Spaghetti noodles in large pot, add meat mixture to spaghetti noodles & stir together.

  8. Step 8

    Serve with butter bread or garlic bread.

Tips & Warnings
  • Adding Olive oil or Cooking oil to boiling water conditions your noodles & should prevent them from sticking together.
  • You could use a taco or spegeeti seasoning package instead of garlic salt, onion powder & chili powder.
  • Slightly chopped up spaghetti noodles before adding meat mixture will allow for easier mixing.
  • Be careful when raining water from noodles, steam from this is very hot.
  • be careful when draining grease from hamburger meat, skillet & grease is very hot.
