Honey Facial Mask

A home spa day that includes a honey facial mask makes a great gift for your mom, a friend or yourself!

For centuries honey has been used to soften, deep clean and soothe the skin. A natural antibiotic, honey will help to kill bacteria in your pores. This natural antibiotic property will also help to eliminate redness.

    Real, natural, pure honey

Honey is full of vitamins and will gently moisturize the skin.
Always use an all natural honey, not an "imitation" honey that is mostly high fructose corn syrup and food coloring.

  2. Step 2
    Warm the honey

To add to the absorption and the calming effect of your facial, you might want to warm the honey. To do this, simply fill a shallow pan with hot water and set the jar of honey in the hot water. Let it sit until the honey is comfortably warm to the touch.

  3. Step 3
Use towels to prevent a mess!

Smooth the warm honey all over your mom's or friend's face and neck, being careful to avoid getting it into her eyes. Let it sit for 10 minutes while she relaxes and drifts into paradise. Use towels over her pillow to prevent a mess!

  4. Step 4
Splash your face with warm water to rinse

Rinse the honey off with warm water and enjoy beautiful, healthy skin!

  • Have a home spa day with some friends and their Moms!
