Things You'll Need:
- Xbox 360, or PS3, or Computer
- Call of Duty 4

Step 1
The best pistolSelecting the best pistol is the key. In my opinion (and that of many others) the USP .45 is the best pistol. Many people say "Well what about the Desert Eagle, that's really powerful" in reality the power is not worth it. The USP .45 has very little recoil and can hit the same spot at least 5 or 6 shots in a row, enough to kill an enemy. Take two shots with the Desert Eagle and it is way above the enemies head. The USP .45 also has a much larger magazine, so you can unload a pistol into the same spot.

Step 2
Now that you have the best pistol, speed is the key. Because all pistols are semi-automatic, you have to be able to shoot quickly to kill an enemy. This just takes practice to be able to hit the trigger button quickly enough. As I said earlier, you can shoot the USP .45 a good 5 to 6 times (more likely the whole magazine) without loosing aim if you zoom. So shoot the pistol quickly, and you will be able to kill quickly.

Step 3
Finally, use the pistols accuracy to your advantage. Always scope when you use the pistol, as this basically negates any recoil. When you first start out trying to use the pistol, it will lose in a straight fire fight with another gun, but as you progress in skill and learn to shoot quickly, it will sometimes beat other guns.

Step 4
As always, practice makes perfect. Learn to use the pistol and it can be a fun way to mix up your Call of Duty 4 experience. They are especially fun on hardcore because they kill in one shot.
