Millions of people enjoy Hershey's famous amusement park every year, but many of them don't know how easy it is to buy discount admission tickets. Why pay full-price if you don't have to? With just a little effort, day visitors to this "sweet" amusement park can save from 15% up to 40% off the price of a regular adult admission ticket. Here's how to buy discounted Hersheypark admission tickets good for any day this summer.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Buy your tickets at any Giant or Martin's Food Stores. Giant Foods has partnered with Hershey to offer Park admission tickets at a great discount. If you visit during the month of May, you'll save $15 off the regular price of a full one-day adult ticket, and you'll get free parking, too! In June, the discount will be $11 and include free parking. For visits during July, August and September, the discount remains $11, but won't include free parking.

  2. Step 2

Check with your local AAA (Automobile Association of America). If your local office doesn't have tickets, just show your membership card at one of the AAA offices in the Central PA region to buy tickets at more than 20% off the regular price.

  3. Step 3

Call or visit any of Hersheypark's other partners. In Central PA, the Philadelphia area, Wilkes Barre, PA, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C., Baltimore, and in the states of New York and New Jersey, Hershey has made Park discount tickets available at one or more of the following places: Subway, Dairy Queen, Burger King, Wawa, TGI Friday's, Friendly's, Dunkin Donuts, and CVS Pharmacies.

  4. Step 4

Inquire with your military base's recreation office. Hersheypark runs a program called Military Appreciation Days, which offers discounts to active duty military, reserves, retired military personnel, and members of the National Guard. These tickets or coupons must be obtained either from your base or mailed directly to you from the Park's ticket office before your visit.

  5. Step 5

Check with local credit unions, parks and recreation boards and other non-profit clubs and organizations who may participate in Hersheypark's discount ticket program as a fundraising opportunity.

  6. Step 6

Buy a concert ticket and save $19 on a regular adult admission to the Park. If you're attending a concert at the Giant Center, Hersheypark Stadium, the Star Pavilion or Hershey Theatre, you can buy a discounted ticket to the Park for use the day before, the day of, or the day after the concert, or you can even buy discounted tickets for all three days!

  7. Step 7

Bring nineteen people with you! Put together a group of 20 or more people and each of you can save up to 40% on your admission tickets. Check with the Hersheypark Group Sales office by phone or visit the Groups page of the Park's website for more information.

With all these ways to save on Hersheypark admission tickets, there's no reason to pay full price for a day of fun at the Park.
