Would you like to skip the acne treatments that dry out your face and irritate your skin? You can have beautiful skin without acne scars, regardless if you have cystic acne or even adult acne. One of the key components to beautiful skin is to keep it hydrated and clean. Learn how to get rid of acne with clear water. It’s so simple that it might be hard to believe you can use this for acne treatment instead of spending money on expensive acne treatments.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Water filter
  • Clean wash rag
  • Water
  • Microwave safe cup
  • Microwave
  1. Step 1

Fill a clean pitcher with filtered water. You can use a Brita water filter. You don’t want to put straight tap water on your acne areas because of all the pollutants that are in regular tap water.

  2. Step 2

Once the water is filtered, place a cup of it in a microwave-safe cup. Heat the cup until it is steaming. I use one minute.

  3. Step 3

Take a clean white wash rag and dip the corner in the cup. Press the warm water over each area of acne. Hold on the area for 10 to 20 seconds. This opens up your skin pores.

  4. Step 4

Gently wipe the area after opening the skin pores where the acne is located.

  5. Step 5

Let the area air dry for two minutes.

  6. Step 6

Dip another end of the wash rag in cool filtered water. Lightly splash your acne area with it. This will close up the pores.

  7. Step 7

Repeat these steps twice a day. If it is hot out or you wear a lot of makeup, try to do this acne treatment three times a day. You’ll be acne free before you know it.

Tips & Warnings
  • Avoid harsh scrubbing to minimize the chances of acne scars.
  • No acne treatment is effective unless you do it consistently, particularly with cystic acne or adult acne.
