An aspirin acne treatment mask is an easy and inexpensive way to get rid of pimples, acne scars, and pockmarks. It can be used daily to prevent and treat all types of acne. Using nothing more than plain aspirin, water and a spoon or blender, you can create your own aspirin acne treatment mask in minutes. This recipe yields enough for several treatments, depending on the area to be covered.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bottle of aspirin
  • Spoon (optional)
  • Blender
  • Small bowl
  • Washcloth
  1. Step 1

Empty your bottle of aspirin into the blender container. Blend on medium speed until you have a fine powder. Alternatively, you can crush them with the back of a spoon, if necessary.

  2. Step 2

Transfer the powder to a small bowl. Add cold water, a few tablespoons at a time, and stir until you have a thick paste. This is your basic aspirin acne treatment mask.

  3. Step 3

Scoop out the aspirin acne mask with your fingers and cover the entire affected area of skin. Allow the mask to remain on the skin for 3-5 minutes, and then remove it with warm water and a washcloth.

  4. Step 4

Repeat this treatment daily as needed to reduce acne, pockmarks, and scars. The typical time frame is 1-4 weeks before visible results will be obtained. Refrigerate any unused portion of the aspirin acne mask to be used again when needed.

Tips & Warnings
  • This aspirin acne mask can also be used as a spot treatment, if desired. Simply apply a small amount onto the pimple or area in question. Allow it to remain for 3-5 minutes before rinsing clean with warm water. Repeat for 2-3 days and your blemish should be gone.
  • Keep the aspirin acne mask out of reach of children and pets, and do not ingest.
