How to Make Shaving Cream

Homemade shaving cream is an economical and easy to make. You can use all natuaral shampoo, conditioner and hand lotion to ensure you have the most natural ingredients. The recipe requires minimal ingredients to make and it helps to moisturize your skin giving you smooth soft skin.

Things You'll Need:

• 4 Tablespoons of Shampoo
• 4 Tablespoons of Conditioner
• 2 Teaspoons of Baby oil
• 1 Teaspoon of Hand Cream
• 5 Drops of Blue food coloring (optional)

1. First have a clean bottle that has a cap that will tighten so you can shake the ingredients.

2. Add 4 Tablespoons of shampoo in a bottle with 4 Tablespoons of conditioner. This works best if you use the same type of shampoo and conditioner. For example if you use a shampoo for oil use a conditioner for oil too. If you use a moisturizing shampoo, use a moisturizing conditioner. After adding both the shampoo and conditioner shake the bottle well.

3. Add in the baby oil. You can use unscented baby oil rather than scented as if you do not want the combined scents from the shampoo and conditioner.

4. Add in 1 teaspoon of hand lotion. Silicon Glove by Avon is a great one for this.

5. Add in the food coloring. Food coloring is optional. You can use blue to give a blue hint or red for a pink hint of color. Shake the bottle well.

6. Store in the airtight container in the shower. Shaving gel can be used up to a month when stored in the shower in an airtight bottle. If the ingredients separate, just shake the bottle well each time you use it.
