2. Visit the AT&T internet site AnyWho.com. Browse for the international database and find the UK. This site provides an index of three residential telephone databases to find people in the UK. Choose one or all of the services available: Infobel, Scoot, and BT. Enter the person's first and last name plus the location to get search results. These services are free of charge.

3. Use the edited version of the UK Electoral Roll. This service is offered by the UKphonebook.com engine. The user has to register to access the electoral roll database with a valid e-mail address. At this site the search is performed by the individual's name.

4. Search on Google United Kingdom by a person's name. Do the search by typing the full name in quotes, for example "Robert Smith". Additionally, you can type a city or town next to the person's name to narrow the search, such as "Robert Smith" London. Google will display the online pages and websites containing the name.
