How to Register for ACLS Certification
Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certification, is a training course that tests the knowledge and skills of health care providers to prepare them for readiness in an emergency episode of cardiopulmonary arrest, arming them with effective resuscitation, fluid administration and respiratory management techniques.

Register for an ACLS course in a classroom setting. This can be completed at an authorized ACLS certification site. The American Heart Association is a great resource for ACLS and PALS questions and you can also sign up for the course directly through organization.

Register for online training. If your schedule doesn't allow for classroom instruction, online ACLS certification courses are also offered. There are numerous websites, including the AHA website, that offer the online course with easy registration.

Check with your local teaching hospitals for ACLS certification training courses. If you currently work in the health care field, check with your education department to sign up, There is a fee, but as an employee, you may be able to get a discount.

Tips & Warnings
You will receive education credits for completing the ACLS certification.
Your ACLS exam is graded shortly after completion, and a temporary certification card provided to you at that time or via email if you completed the online course. You can expect to receive your original certification card within a few days via the United States Postal Service.
