How to Keep Picture Frames From Moving On Walls

Do you have picture frames that no matter how many times you straightened it the picture always seems to slant. With this simple and easy trick the picture will stay straight until you remove it. Best of all is there is no additional holes in the wall to repair.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Do you have a picture frame that always seems to slant?

  2. Step 2

    Take a small chunk of adhesive putty and knead until smooth.

  3. Step 3

    Once the putty is smooth roll into a small ball.

  4. Step 4

    Place the small ball of adhesive putty on the back of the picture frame.

  5. Step 5

    Align the picture frame and press to the wall.

  6. Step 6

    The adhesive will cling to the picture frame and the wall prohibiting the frame from moving.

  7. Step 7

    When you want to remove the picture simply pull from the wall. The putty can be easily removed by rubbing against the putty residue with another piece of putty.

Tips & Warnings
  • This also works well with textured or irregular shaped picture frames.
  • I use this trick on my pictures that hang on a wall with a door. When the door is slammed the pictures never budge.
