1
Decide on your prices. It doesn't matter whether your merchandise is new, gently used or has been around the block a few times, your flea market customers are looking for great finds and the BEST DEALS! The key to pricing your flea market merchandise is to remember that all prices are negotiable in your customers' minds. Therefore, you should establish a starting price slightly higher (NOT TOO HIGH) than the amount of money you would like to make and be prepared to work from there. It's always nice to receive your original asking price, but you have to remain flexible especially if you don't want bring your merchandise back home with you.

2
Organize your merchandise ahead of time. After you've put on the price tags or stickers, place your products neatly into bins and boxes. Label each bin or box so you are aware of the contents before you arrive to set-up your selling space. The more organized you are, the easier it will be to set-up and get your mind focused on selling your merchandise.

Attractively display your items. You want your selling space and merchandise to be as visually appealing and inviting to your customers as possible. The flea market organizers usually supply the vendors with tables, but you may be able to use your own folding tables. You can also use tablecloths, display cases or racks and table signs. Always make sure your items are clean. I once saw a vendor display a set of dirty dishes. The dishes had a great pattern and price, but the dirt was probably the reason why the dishes went back home with the vendor.

Sell! Sell! Sell! Your goal is to never let your customers leave your area without making a purchase. Be friendly and remain flexible with your prices. Also consider offering special deals like "Buy 1 Get 1" or "Fill a Bag for $5." If you have items that you really don't want to take back home, put those items in a box and offer a FREE item with every purchase.
