Traffic exchanges are a great way to find new customers for your website, blog, or affiliate marketing page. But how can you better your odds at attracting the next customer? Getting more customers interested in your product all comes down to the website design.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • website
  • your website editing tools
  • traffic exchange account
  1. Step 1

Be top heavy: While in many cases, something that's top heavy is a bad thing, websites for traffic exchanges need to be top heavy. This means putting your best pitch or offer right at the top of the page so no one has to scroll down to get the good stuff.

  2. Step 2

Avoid videos or audio that automatically start. While this may get the attention of a few, it will most likely be annoying and drive people away.

  3. Step 3

Keep is simple. Even manual traffic exchanges only make surfers look at the site for 6-30 seconds, so if you have too many graphics or applications that take time to load, customers may not see all that you have to offer.

  4. Step 4

Know your audience. Those that surf traffic exchanges are promoting websites of their own, so cater to those people by offering something for those that understand marketing with traffic exchanges.

Tips & Warnings
  • Change the look of your site occasionally. This could attract the same surfers who see your site on a daily basis.
