HISTORY - Find out the history of your prior to purchase. You can start by asking the owner and see how far you get with them. If you are not comfortable that you received all of the history of the car, you should try another service such as Carfax.
-
Step 2
VALUE - You can attempt to judge the value by comparing the prices of other cars for sale that are the same year, make, model and have the same number of miles. You can also check The Kelley Blue Book or it's online version to help you determine the correct value for your new to you car.
-
Step 3

There could be underlying issues that you cannot see or do not notice. It is worth the money if you are require to pay for the inspection. Now you know how to buy a used car.
