Things You'll Need:
- Apples
- Raspberries
- Avocados
- Cinnamon

Step 1
Eat cinnamon apple slices 15 to 20 minutes before the meal where you’re most likely to consume the most calories. This technique combines two studies: one from a university that found eating a raw apple before a meal got people to cut close to 200 calories from that meal without trying, and another study that found only small amounts of cinnamon make food in the stomach feel satisfying longer and evens out blood sugar. The theory for why it works is that the pectin of the apple along with the chewing of the raw apple makes the body feel more satisfied, and adding cinnamon boosts the feeling even further. If you need to do this at work, slice the apple ahead of time, dip slices in a glass of water with a tablespoon of lemon juice to keep them from going brown, dry with a paper towel, sprinkle on a little cinnamon (no sugar), and bag them. Make the slices large enough to really sink your teeth into and chew. Or, just take a cinnamon shaker to work along with whole apples, and shake it on when it’s time to eat. For variety, try a different heirloom apple each day of the week.

Step 2
Eat a cup of fresh or frozen raspberries daily. Here’s one of the most enjoyable and easy ways to lose weight by eating fruits. A study in Japan found that the berries have a metabolism-boosting compound that works three times better than other proven plant calorie burning compounds such as those found in certain peppers. They make great, simple, fast snacks for work or home. Or, put some in your smoothie or on your salad.

Step 3
Add an avocado to your daily meal. Another USA university believes avocados can break down stored fats while they also help the body feel that satisfaction we get from eating fats. The avocado provides a good fat in the form of Omega-9, which makes them a great complement when you want to lose weight by eating fruits. The others help satisfy a sweet tooth, and the avocado helps with fat cravings. They can be smeared onto toast or sandwiches, made into guacamole, and cut into salads.
