Love is a beautiful thing!
Love is a beautiful thing!

Sometimes it's hard for some of us to settle down and commit to our current relationships. It is especially hard for those of us that have gotten used to playing the field. Many times we've played the game so good our worst fear is to settle down and have the game played on us. Well we all know that karma has her ways of coming back around but what are you supposed to do in the meantime? Just sit around and wait to get bit in the ass or anticipate the fall of a relationship that you expect will eventually crumble. I know that you are used to the fast paced lifestyle which may include two or three dates in one day. So below are just a few start up suggestions on ways to be content in your current relationship.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Patience
  1. Step 1
    Toss it...
    Toss it...

Take caution and throw it to the wind! The worst way to feel during your relationship is impatient or insecure. Whether it be with the karma issues or just trusting someone with your heart. Always know that sometimes you have to give of yourself completely and let the ones that love you receive you wholeheartedly.

  2. Step 2
    Let it go...
    Let it go...

Take that old black book and bury it somewhere you will not be tempted to find it. If you notice I didn't say burn it. You can burn it the night before your wedding; at this point we just want to get it out of our sight. On those nights your partner works late or has an overnight business trip, please don't revert back to this book instead challenge your mind, strength and your love for this person. You can do it!

  3. Step 3

Find interesting things that you would like to do or become involved in. Not saying that everyone likes to sew but do something creative to pre-occupy your mind. Occupy your hands so that they won't even think of reaching to dial numbers of those old friends.

  4. Step 4

If you don't see anything wrong with your relationship don't go and start unnecessary arguments for the hell of it. I know you're used to being the center of attention but when you've become involved with someone now is not the time to play games. Relax yourself!

Tips & Warnings
  • I know that by being in a relationship sometimes we feel tied down like we are missing something. Don't worry remember that the grass may look greener on the other side but learn to appreciate your own lawn first.
  • BE BLESSED!
  • Don't mess up a good thing!
