Go thru each application and give a short interview. Let the applicants your not interested in know that you will be collecting applications all day and if they fit what your looking for you will call them back. The applicants that your interest in either give them a longer interview or schedule for a second interview at later time.

During you interview write down key point about the applicant either negative or positive. Please attach this to the application. This will help when going thru the applications latter.

9
Wait to make your final decision of who to hire until after you have interview everyone your interested in. This will help to insure you have hired the best qualified applicant.

10
Take all the applications and sort them into to pile. No or Yes for the job. If you have some maybe put them in the yes pile to compare to other applicants. Now it a simple process of deciding who you want to hire.
