How to Make a Basketball Goal to Hang on a Door
Who says that you have to be seven feet tall to dunk a basketball? If you have a mini basketball hoop for your door, you'll be able to dunk without even jumping. The problem is that these little contraptions can be ridiculously expensive. If you don't have the 100 bucks to shell out in order to fulfill your wildest Shaq fantasies, you can make your own mini-basketball hoop with a few common household materials.
Instructions

1
Cut the cardboard into a square for the backboard. The ideal size for a mini hoop for your bedroom door is probably somewhere around 18 inches by 18 inches, but feel free to experiment.
-
2
Straighten one of the wire hangers so that it can be manipulated into a new shape.
-
-
3
Take the straightened wire hanger and form it into a circle for the basketball rim.
-
4
Tape the rim to the front of the cardboard backboard using the duct tape.
-
5
Tape the other wire hanger to the back of the cardboard backboard. The hanger should not be straightened out. It should be taped as is, with the hook end extending over the top of the cardboard. This hanger will be used to hang the hoop from the door.
-
6
Rotate the hook end of this second hanger 90 degrees so that the hook can rest over the top of your door while the remainder of the hanger stays duct taped to the back of the cardboard.
-
7
Hang the completed hoop over the door.
-
8
Roll up a large ball of notebook paper for the ball.
-
9
Slam it down.

Tips & Warnings
You can use a marker to make the traditional backboard square on the front of the cardboard before you hang it up if you want the hoop to look more professional.
