Step 1
You should first practice your baking. If you already know how to make great cookies, then more power to you. It is very important to know the science behind baking when you want to do it for a business. Try AIB or other baking sites.

Step 2
Have friend's and family tell you exactly what they think of your cookies. Tell them not to hold back. You need their HONEST opinion. Work to make your perfect recipe. Experiment with different things. Be sure to keep records of your batches ( the taste and appearance)

Step 3
Now take pictures of your most perfect cookies. These should be placed on a website, or into a brochure. Make plenty of perfect samples and give them away along with your business card. Make sure your cookies are reasonably priced.
