Block Out Your Cell Phone Number On Calls

So you want to call some one on your cell phone, but you don't want your name or caller id to show up on their phone? Well in this article I will show you how to block out your cell phone number so the person you are calling does not know its you.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

The first thing that you have to do is get out your cell phone for what ever reason that you want to use it for. For blocking out your cell phone number its probably to prank call someone, but you can use it for other things too.

  2. Step 2

Now that your cell phone is out find the person that you want to call in your phone or get the number from someone else.

  3. Step 3

Now that you have the number in mind dial *67 first and then the persons phone number after it.

  4. Step 4

So for an example if the person that you wanted to call phone number was (222)-333-4444 you would dial *67-222-333-4444.

  5. Step 5

To test to make sure that this works call your home phone or a friends cell phone that is near by just to make sure that it will come up with out your number.

  6. Step 6

For some stupid reason that you want to prank an emergency service such as 911 your call will not be blocked so they can trace it back to your phone and you will get screwed so don't do it. Stay smart.
