Tinkerbell is a cute little pixie, popularized originally by Disney's animated feature, "Peter Pan." Whether accompanied by Peter or on her own, Tinkerbell makes a great figure for a theme party for children, and there are lots of ways to incorporate her in party planning. Here are some great ideas for party favors that you can make for a Tinkerbell theme party.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Printable coloring pages
  • Crayola glitter crayons
  • Stapler or paper clip
  • 6-inch dowels
  • Glitter
  • Poster paint
  • Craft paint brush
  • Star-shaped glitter Foamies
  • Shiny confetti
  • Sandwich bags
  • Sticker labels

    Coloring Book

  1. Step 1

Look for free printable Tinkerbell coloring pages and word games on the internet. There are many sites that will allow you to print great work sheets for free, such as the resource below.

  2. Step 2

Print out one of each page per guest you've invited.

  3. Step 3

Print out a cover for this homemade activity booklet with the birthday child's name and age, and thanking your guests for coming to the party.

  4. Step 4

Gather all the papers together with the cover on top. Staple them or paper-clip them together. Distribute them with a box of Crayola glitter crayons.

  5. Magic Wand

  6. Step 1

Paint a 6-inch dowel a colorful color with poster paints. Sprinkle glitter onto the paint while it is still wet. Allow it to dry.

  7. Step 2

Take two star-shaped glitter Foamies. Peel the paper off the sticky backs. Stick them together, back to back, placing the tip of the dowel between them.

  8. Step 3

Tie some shiny ribbon just below the star.

  9. Pixie Dust

  10. Step 1

Mix 2 to 4 ounces of multi-color glitter with one or two small packages of shiny star-shaped confetti in a bowl or bag. Shake or stir it to blend well.

  11. Step 2

Scoop 2 or 3 teaspoons of the mixture into a small sandwich baggie with an interlocking top. Seal it well. If the bags don't have an interlocking top, you'll need to tie them with a ribbon or rubber band.

  12. Step 3

Make labels, either by hand or with your printer, that say, "Pixie Dust." Put the labels onto the baggies of glitter and confetti.
