AcneFree is a three-step acne treatment system similar to Proactiv Solution. It includes a cleanser, a refining toner and a repair lotion. Its active ingredient, benzyol peroxide, works 24 hours a day to help treat acne. The benzoyl peroxide in AcneFree kills bacteria forming in the pores to clear any existing acne and prevent future acne from forming.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Towel
  • Cotton pad
  1. Step 1

Pour a quarter-size dollop of cleanser, from the bottle labeled "Step 1," in the palm of your hand. Dab the cleanser on your forehead, cheeks and chin. Gently massage it into your skin for 1 minute.

  2. Step 2

Rinse your face thoroughly with warm water, then pat your face dry with a clean towel.

  3. Step 3

Squeeze one to two squirts of toner, in the bottle labeled "Step 2," on your cotton pad. Rub over your entire face, excluding the eyelids and lips. Any additional dirt left on the face after using the cleanser will be removed during this step.

  4. Step 4

Pour a dime-sized portion of the repair lotion, labeled "Step 3," in the palm of your hand. Dab some repair lotion on your chin, forehead and cheeks. Gently massage the repair lotion into the skin in an upward motion, being careful not to get any in your eyes.

Tips & Warnings
  • When using AcneFree, wear a sunscreen. Acne may appear to worsen in the first week of use. This is normal and should subside in within 2 to 3 weeks.
  • AcneFree may cause excessively dry skin. Benzoyl peroxide may cause bleaching of the hair, especially at the hairline. AcneFree products may bleach your clothes, pillowcases and/or sheets.
